About Me

My name is Sara Lynn. My mother always taught me to leave things better than you found it. Most of the time she was talking about the campsite we were staying at, or the park we were exploring, or the trail we hiking. But that line has resonated with me and I've continued to incorporate this mantra into almost every aspect of my life. Particulary, I try to limit my "carbon footprint" on this world. While trying to find more environmentally conscientious products, I stumbled upon the discovery that all the things we interact with on a daily basis are not only polluting our Earth, but polluting our bodies as well. I quickly learned how so many of us are being bombarded with toxins from everything we use daily. Food, household, skincare, cosmetics, hair care, hygiene, cookware, baby and kids' products, it all adds up to how much we're being exposed to. I slowly changed out everything in my home. As I ran out of a product, I bought something safer with clean ingredients and that's how this journey to Green & Pure Living began. 

I'm here to help you with your toxin-free journey, how to begin, where to shop, my favorite brands, and discounts on my favorite products. I'm here to teach you how to read labels and learn about ingredients, and the effects they have on our bodies and the environment. I'm currently just a dog mom, but I have hope for a family in the future as well as know and love lots of children, so I'm especially hopeful that I will be able to help lessen the burden and toxicity for the little ones in our lives. It's never too early or too late to start your journey and I can't wait to help you! Now I am by no means perfect, and even if I was, it is impossible to steer clear of all toxins, but together, we can all learn, grow, and commit to choosing a better start for ourselves, our loved ones, our home, and our Earth.
